Order Process

Not sure where to start the ordering process? Take a read through our quick guide on how to start an order for your wedding invitations.

If you are still unsure, please don't hesitate to get in touch and we will be more than happy to discuss your ideas and guide you through the process!

Browse through all of our collections to find a design that suits your chosen theme. If you are looking for inspiration, please visit our social media pages to take a look at some of our previous work. If you would like to send us some inspiration pictures of your colour scheme, venue, flowers, etc, please include these and we can work to create something that matches your overall theme perfectly. We have a range of invitations and stationery styles to suit any budget.

Get in touch to discuss the details of your stationery. Once we establish the style of stationery you are looking for we will send a no-obligation quote based on your requirements and the quantities of each item needed. To get in touch, visit the contact page or email us directly at [email protected]. All quotes are valid for 2 weeks from the date they are issued.

Once you have received your quote, if you would like to proceed with the order please get back in touch and we will send your custom invoice with payment instructions and deadline, as well as the details needed to begin the design process.

Once we have received the details for your stationery we will begin the design process and you will receive your first digital proofs within 5-10 days from the date we receive your details (this timescale varies depending on the size of your order). If you would like to make any alterations to the wording of your stationery please let us know and we will send you an updated proof as soon as possible. You can make as many changes as you’d like (at no extra charge) until you confirm you are happy for your stationery to be printed. Once your proofs have been approved your order will be completed and dispatched within 5-10 days (again, this timescale depends on the size of your order).

Please note: Once your proofs have been approved we will no longer be able to make any additional changes so we kindly request that all proofs are checked thoroughly before approval.

Once your stationery has been dispatched you will receive a notification email letting you know your stationery is on it’s way! All invitation orders are dispatched using Royal Mail special delivery and should arrive the next working day. Orders over £75 include free standard delivery which usually takes 3-4 working days from the date of dispatch. We also offer delivery upgrades for an additional cost including 1st class delivery or special 24 hour delivery which can be applied on the checkout page of the website or requested if you have received an invoice for a bespoke order.

Once your order has been delivered please check through your stationery thoroughly and ensure that everything is as it should be. If there are any issues with any part of your order please let us know within 5 working days and we will rectify any problems that may have occurred.

Our Top Tips

When ordering your save the dates or invitations with us consider booking your ‘on the day stationery’ at the same time so we can book you into our diary and ensure we have plenty of time to complete your matching on-the-day stationery.

We understand the rising cost of living is hard for everyone and everyone’s budget for wedding stationery is different. If you are looking to save a little bit of money, please consider some of the below options for your stationery…

Double-Sided Invitations – Rather than including an extra card for those additional details, consider printing these on the reverse of your main invitations utilizing the space of your stationery while still maintaining that luxury feel.

Alternate RSVPs – Rather than adding an RSVP reply card to your invitations, consider adding an RSVP section to your ‘finer details’ cards including an email address or phone number for your guests to RSVP to.

Wedding Websites – A wedding website is a great way to inform all your guests of the important details for your big day, including your wedding breakfast menu and instructions on how guests can submit their RSVP. We can include the link to your website or a QR code for guests to scan on all of our invitations.

Place Cards – Most venues require you to display your guest' menu choices and their dietary requirements at their place setting. Rather than ordering both menus and place name cards, consider doubling up your menus to include your guest names as well as their personal meal preferences, or include an abbreviated version of their meal on the back of their place card.

Number of Invitations – Rather than ordering one invitation per guest, we recommend ordering one invitation per household, plus a few extras just in case.

The Size of your Stationery – For smaller weddings, consider ordering smaller signage. We offer a range of sizes for all signage including welcome signs and table plans.

We are often asked for advice on when is best to order your stationery. There is no right or wrong answer to this and it’s all down to personal preference but this guide might help you make your decision.

Save the Dates – We recommend sending your save the dates 9-12 months before the big day! This gives your guests plenty of notice to book time off work, as most employees are only allowed to book annual leave up to one year in advance, and also allows guests to consider your wedding date when planning future holidays or trips. We advise ordering your save the dates at least 2 weeks before you would like to send them out to guests.

Invitations – It is important not to send your invitations out too early. We advise sending your invitations 9-6 months before your wedding date and recommend placing your order with us 3-4 weeks before the date you would like to send them out to your guests. It is also important to consider your RSVP date when sending out your invites. Don’t forget to consult with your venue on the deadline for your RSVPs as each venues requirements will vary.

On the Day Stationery – To avoid any last-minute changes, you should order your on-the-day stationery as close as possible to the big day, however, to ensure we have enough time to complete and deliver your order our deadline for larger stationery orders is 3-4 weeks before your wedding date and 2 weeks for smaller orders. It is important to book this in with us as soon as possible so we can ensure we can fit your order in, but please don’t worry, it is free of charge to book your date with us and we only require payment when the design process is due to begin.
